24.10.2024, on the United Nations day, TB people Global has sent a statement to the The Global Fund to Fights AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria on the outcomes of its Strategy Committee meeting and the underlying problem underrepresentation of the global TB community in the Global Fund governance. We reiterate our full and unconditional support to the TB33% Campaign and the petition, which as of now has around 15 thousand signatories, and the number is growing, and we look forward to hear strong responses from the Communities Delegation, the Global Fund Board leadership and the Secretariat to understand what steps they are going to take to ensure that TB voices will no longer be sidelined and have a well-deserved role in the Global Fund governance.
